Project Summary

“Daily Risk Prediction” is a technological innovation project aimed at preventing workplace risks through an integrated platform that combines wearable devices, IoT environmental sensors and artificial intelligence. The system monitors in real-time the physiological conditions of operators and environmental parameters of the operational context, proactively signaling potential hazardous situations.

Purpose and Objectives

  • Improve risk prevention in workplaces, with particular attention to high-risk sectors (construction, industry, logistics)

  • Provide advanced real-time monitoring tools through wearables and environmental sensors

  • Develop a predictive model based on artificial intelligence to anticipate anomalies, fatigue and critical conditions

  • Offer companies a unified dashboard for safety and device management

  • Promote the integration of technologies into corporate safety culture

Expected and Achieved Results

  • Development of a proprietary wearable bracelet, alternative to Bangle.js 2

  • Development of the “VERA” IoT platform for biometric and environmental data management

  • System integration with WordPress for managing company and worker profiles

  • Implementation of artificial intelligence algorithms for risk assessment

  • Activation of trials in real business contexts

  • Ongoing: industrial validation of the prototype and initiation of large-scale production phases

Impact on Context and Citizens’ Lives

The project concretely improves workplace safety by intervening proactively before critical events occur. Through the adoption of intelligent technologies and connected devices, “Daily Risk Prediction” enables:

  • Reduce the number of injuries and accidents

  • Promote a culture of active and participatory prevention

  • Offer SMEs low-cost digital tools for worker protection

  • Create new competencies in IoT and digital security in Campania
